Victoria Gardens Mall
Victoria Gardens Mall is a cooperative effort between the City of Rancho Cucamonga's Redevelopment Agency and Forest City Development.
The project is located on 150 acres adjacent to Interstate 15 between Foothill Boulevard (Old Route 66) and Baseline Road in the City of Rancho Cucamonga. The initial phase of the mall will be approximately 1.35 million square feet of retail space with a civic center that includes a library and performing arts center. The mall has the capability to expand to 2.5 million square feet with structured parking for office towers.
Victoria Gardens will be in an outdoor setting with small roads that allow access throughout the mall and to small stores and shops on each side of the roads. The mall will be anchored by four major department stores situated at the terminus of each of the major internal drives. MDS Consulting is performing the entitlement work and preliminary engineering, including the formation of a major Community Facilities District as well as a detailed traffic circulation plan in conjunction with the project's traffic engineer. Planning for the initial phase is complete and a detailed Environmental Impact Report is in process. Construction is scheduled to begin late in 2002.
